My, My, My

My, My, My, how time has flown by! I took the last couple of months off from blogging to spend some much needed time with the little ones. We've been busy visiting the beach, museums, The Book Barn, playing with good friends, getting ready for preschool (yikes!) and making weekend trips to Long Island.
My sincere apologies to those out there that thought I just vanished from thin air!
I'd love to share some of our recent adventures with you, please visit my other blog, Olive You Two, (dedicated to my two children) if you'd like to take a peek.
I'll leave you with my favorite video at the moment. This little guy knows how to work it.
HAHA!

Spring Playlist

But, the sun is shining, the birds are chirpin' and I'm walking around in shorts people! SHORTS!So, I think it's time to ditch the pre-made play list and make one of my own,
{although, I do not know when I'll be able to make it. Babysitting three kids today into tonight...who are all under the age of 4, plus my own two. YIKES.}
Oh well, I can always dream...
here's my list so far....

Any other good ones I missed? I'd love to hear!

Easter Shots

Easter at our house this year.
The Table

The Cake

The Eggs
{This was the first year Christopher really got to color eggs, he loved it}
The Hunt

Kisses from Papa

This is probably my favorite shot of all time...now if only Christopher wasn't off exploring...

I hope you all had a happy and blessed Easter.
We definitely had fun
{maybe a little too much fun}.
Now, we're just recuperating and trying to get rid of all these hard boiled eggs!!
Any ideas besides egg salad??

Easter Eggs

Now I know Easter decorations usually include a lot of pastel colors and baby hues, but...
you know me!
{If you don't know me, my entire life, i.e. the interior/exterior of my house, holiday decorations, my wardrobe, hubby's wardrobe, kids wardrobe... consists of four colors: black, white/cream, gray, and a very dusty blue.}
Anyways,
here is how I decorated Easter eggs this year while staying true to my {boring, neutral} self.

These were super easy and fun to create. First, I blew the eggs out then went to town with a black Sharpie marker. Afterwards, I strung yarn through them and hung them on a bunch of collected sticks from my backyard.

Little Moments Like This

Here he is doing what he loves best. Singing in the tub.
The song in the background is Feist singing "1, 2, 3,4" from Christopher's favorite Sesame Street episode.
Easily my favorite moment of the day.
